Chandra Spa
Besides the typical activities found in all Spas like fitness activities with cardiovascular machines, dry sauna, massage, indoor heated  pool and whirlpool, water & beauty treatments, we to provide mental and spiritual wellbeing for our guests, for which we offer yoga relaxation therapies, meditation sessions and aromatherapy among other offerings.

Bike Rental
Whether for adults or children, we have bikes for our guests that are looking to explore the nearby Puerto Camacho or wander the extraordinary and unique landscape surrounding the Carmelo Resort and Spa, A Hyatt Hotel

Tennis
Our two tennis courts have lights to allow you to play without daylight. Raquets and balls are offered on a complimentary basis.

Kids Club
For our younger guests, the Kids Club is available all year from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. For children between 5 and 12 years old. Babysitting service is available with advance reservation

Outdoor pool
Swim and enjoy the natural surroundings at our outdoor pool, open 24 hours daily. Our palapas (or palm-roofed canopies) are perfect to relax in the shade poolside Clase de Pasteleria.

Clase de Pasteleria
We invite you to our bakery, where you will be able to learn the secrets of our Executive Chef. After that, you will have the pleasure to enjoy and take with you what you have produced, receiving also the recipe to make it at home! This activity is complimentary and reservations are required.

Canoeing
Let’s row! If  you wish to do nautical sports through the Río de la Plata, and learn the guide’s secrets, join him in the adventure, one hour long. We depart from Puerto Camacho at 10:00 am. We will wait for you at the lobby at 9:45 am to take you there.

Horseback Riding
Enjoy a ride with a “Gaucho” (local guide), through “Tierra de Caballos” woods. Previous experience is not required. The horseback ride lasts 50 minutes. The schedules offered are: 10:00am, 11:30am, 2:00pm and 3:30pm.

Polo Lesson
Enjoy a one hour class, and learn the basic principles of the sport of the kings.

Golf
Destined to be South America’s premier golf experience, this magnificent 18-hole, par-72 Carmelo golf course has critics raving about the beauty of its natural setting. Perfectly nestled in the Uruguayan countryside, around numerous lakes, wetland, native trees and ornamental grass, it offers one of South America’s truest tests for golfers of all skill levels. Take advantage of all the Carmelo golf course has to offer, including polo fields, a club house, La Estancia, horseback riding, and a private beach. Golf in Uruguay has never been more exciting.

Narbona Winery
Narbona Winery near Carmelo is located only three miles away from the resort. The ancient structure at Narbona Carmelo features a restaurant and a cellar, where they produce one of the best Tannat wines of the region. Tannat wines in Uruguay are often lighter in body and lower in tannins than French versions of the varietal. The enologist will walk you through their cava while you enjoy a local picada and their Narbona wines.

Fishing
If you love fishing from a boat, you should not miss this chance to visit the finest fishing ports of the Río de la Plata and Rio Uruguay, guided by a local expert who will share his  secret.

Sunset Cruise
Enjoy a relaxing tour through the islands of the Delta, discovering the waters of Río de la Plata and Rio Uruguay, during the hours around sunset.
