ABOUT ESTANCIA RINCON DEL SOCORRO - in their own words:

Having originated from a main ranch building originally built in 1896, the Socorro lodge was later restored and expanded personally by Douglas Tompkins. The buildings retain the classic Spanish style, consisting of great galleries that cool the house during hot days and offering, on cool days, the warmth of the fireplace in the main living room for cozy enjoyment. On warm days, you can enjoy the beautiful pool with the sound of the garrulous parrots.

On leaving the guest buildings are the houses of the CLT staff, and a small school where the children of these workers are educated. In the homes-stead, it is frequent to meet with the technicians of the foundation, who enjoy speaking with visitors about the functioning of the reintroduction projects and the creation of the Iberá Park.

ACCOMMODATIONS:
The Hostería has 9 rooms and the service it offers is with full board and activities included. Our guest rooms are a reflection of our personal philosophy of diversity in all things! Each room has been designed and decorated uniquely according to its shape and location. There are no two rooms alike. Guests are treated to such things are ancient maps, old stuffed alligators, rare wildlife prints.

DINING ROOM & MEALS:
The restaurant is open to the public for lunch, dinner and tea. Culinary offerings stem from a combination of typical recipes from Corrientes along with Argentinean and international dishes, which are created using our organic vegetables from the orchard. In the roofed barbecue shack guests can enjoy delicious typical asados.

Estancia Rincon del Socorro offers many activities from birdwatching, nature walks and has an important "rewilding project". The agenda of activities of the day is programmed according to the opportunities of the time and of the climate.
