ACCOMMODATIONS: click here for site map and selection of photos Each of the eleven uniquely designed bungalows features a private terrace, and natural dunes covered in swaying beach grasses divide the bungalows from one another, providing privacy for bungalow guests.
The main building features open architecture and flowing spaces, encouraging conviviality among Bahia Vik guests. Here there are an additional ten suites, all with private terraces and most with broad sweeping views of the dunes, beach and ocean. |
COMMON AREAS:
Common areas include spacious courtyards, al fresco dining areas, four pools, a game room, full equipped gym and spa, and a boutique offering Vik curated items such as Uruguayan art and local crafts. Artist involvement is an important focus at Bahia Vik, where a wide range of contemporary Uruguayan and international artists have created unique installations, sculptures, and art throughout the property.
DINING:
Dining amenities at Bahia Vik feature locally-grown and produced ingredients and a continued emphasis on authentic Uruguayan cuisine. Guests are encouraged to dine on the expansive outdoor terrace by one of the pool or in the open-air patio or dining room to enjoy the traditional Uruguayan barbeque, fresh fish and seafood, VIK wines, locally grown fruits and vegetables and homemade breads and pastries all prepared by the property’s talented chef.
Next door to Bahia Vik is Vik’s new La Susana restaurant where guests can spend the day enjoying the beach lounge, or for authentic live music into the evening.
