José Ignacio has the shortest high season in the world: December 25th through January 10th... please understand the high rates during this period! Everything happens during the first days of January!!! If you don’t come prepared it can be chaotic! Don´t come those days if you are looking for peace and tranquilness...

Coming in Winter? Note that in winter most places are closed. Butiá is closed during this season, but if you ask in advance what you want we will prepare it especially for you

Bring cash (US dollars) because José Ignacio has no ATM’s and credit cards are not so welcomed in most of the spots.

Private Parties: During the high season there are big private parties... Most people have tickets and connections before coming here, either a friend or a friend of a friend… These parties are a lot of fun but if you don´t have tickets you’ll have trouble getting in… socialize during daytime so you can know what’s happening at nighttime! These parties are held in private mansions or beach houses. Guests can range from 500 to 1500 and believe it or not it’s hard to get in!!!

Contact with Nature: It is the ideal time for walks along the beach, read a book, etc. The landscapes are spectacular and the experience is unique! You can get in touch with nature ... And if you want to stay at the hotel have a massage every day!

Casa Suaya's pool: Bring your friends and enjoy the beautiful swimming pool while sipping some delicious drinks!

Services: The staff will try to help you in every way they can in all your needs, but remember that this is a secluded home-type hotel… not like the ones in Cancun or similar places… José Ignacio is a tiny village… If you come knowing what to expect you´ll have a great time!!
