About TXAI Resort
Member of the exclusive group of Relais & Châteaux hotels, the Txai Itacaré goes
way beyond hospitality.
The daily philosophy of wellbeing and well hosting is

Built on a 92-hectare farm, on Itacarezinho beach, which is 15 km form Itacaré;
its Bahian shore is the only one with rocky mountains that hide small and
delicate beaches of fine sand in their coves, waters of green and emerald colors
with a warm temperature all year round, and a stretch of soft white sand full of
coconut trees along the shore.
The hotel is Iocated on a 100-hectare estate of native Atlantic Rainforest, an
ancient oceanfront farm that produced coconut and cocoa in the Environmental
Protection Area of Itacaré- Serra Grande.
Our exclusive bungalows ensure coziness and privacy with maximum comfort. The
restaurants offer a light cuisine with local products served in carefully
prepared dishes. The therapies, massages, baths and aesthetical treatments
offered by the Shamash Healing Space ensure health and wellbeing. Our living
rooms have comfortable couches and our library has the best photography books in
Brazil. We hold romantic dinners in strategic spots of the property. We select
the most optimal background music. Dances and folkloric presentations can
brighten up moonlit dinners or dining to the sound of crackling fire. We hold
events, parties and weddings.

Location:
48 km north of Ilheus airport and 15 km south of Itacare, on a 100 hectar
cocnut plantation surrounded by unspoiled Atlantic Rain Forest. According to Conservation
International, thin the region the Atlantic Rain Forest has an extremely high number of
plant, reptile, bird and small mammal species, making it one of the most diverse
bio-spheres on the planet. Txai takes part in reforestation projects of native species

There are a total of 38 unitsspread out around the coconut groves to ensure maximum privacy.
The interiors are a mix of rustic simplicity of Bahia with
the maximum comfort. Decorated in earth tones, they are furnished with king-size bed with
mosquito nets, a desk, sofas for reading, refrigerator bar, air conditioning, out-side
shower and an open-air bed for massage and relaxation. The bungalows are also equipped
with an outside whirlpool bath. There are also suites built facing the ocean, with the
same comfort and style as the bungalows.

Contemporary gastronomy, which respects the traditions of
the Bahian culinary. The alchemy takes place when we blend passion, regional
ingredients and international culinary techniques. In the hands of
experienced chefs and a highly professional team, nature gains unique
flavors and scents. The sommelier suggests the right wine to harmonize with
the dishes. We have a vast selection of South American and International
wines in our wine cellar. It is possible to prepare an exclusive dinner with
