LOCATION & CLIMATE
40 km south of Maceio it is the most fashionable beach on all of the state. On it´s right side, an extense reef  barrier makes great natural pools during low tide, with clear green-toned water. On its left corner where the reef does not surface, the ocean presents itself on its pure natural form,  with the pleasant and smooth sounds of waves breaking in golden sands.

Also on its right side, Roteiro’s lagoon complex, with natural, untouched mangrove. Engraved in between coconut trees to the extent of your sight, just where the lagoon meets the ocean, Gunga beach, considered to be in the top seven most beautiful beaches in Brazil. From the top of the hill, a sightseeing spot with dazzling views of the town and its natural beauties.

The climate is great all year round:
    Average minimums in the low 70's F except for June, July, August & September when averages are  in the high 60's F

Kenoa Resort has 23 rooms – every single one with a view to the sea. Their setting were carefuly thought out so our guests can enjoy fully privacy and comfort. The decór was also throughly projected to provide well being. Our suites offer a traditional Japanese ofuro on their balcony and the villas offer a private, infinity-edged heated pool and an external deck.
