The vision of Villas de Trancoso came to life in 2001 when I passed through the small fishing village of Trancoso, Bahia, Brazil. What I found was a coastline of pristine golden sand beaches, a village rich in history and a culture that resonated to the world of music and dance. That visit brought me to a beautiful palm studded beach that was soon to become my home. Since that time Trancoso has gained recognition for its charming village and festive party atmosphere but people still come to enjoy the privacy and serenity of one of the most beautiful spots on earth.

While our hotel offers many amenities that we hope you will enjoy one area is referenced more than any other. Our people. They will quickly welcome you into our Villa family and will try their best to anticipate those things that will make this one of your most memorable vacations ever.

TRANCOSO BEACH BAR & RESTAURANT
We are located on Nativos beach, an exquisite stretch of golden sand and palms running along the Trancoso coast line. Our terraced and palm studded private beach area includes our beach bar, a shaded lounge, comfortable lounge chairs and pillows, and a health and fitness center fashioned entirely from Brazilian woods. Relax to music at our beach bar or lounge in the luxury of our shaded deck with beach pillows and attentive staff. Take a dip in the ocean and return to our waterfall showers in the sand.

POOL AND GARDENS OF VILLAS OF TRANCOSO
In front of our beach lies a tropical paradise of luxurious manicured gardens, spacious lawns and flora of every variety. Nestled within this oasis you will find our villas, our cabana and restaurant, our spa and our white marble pool. Here you can relax around the pool, sip cocktails in our sunken pool bar or take a stroll through our gardens to experience the incredible array of flowers, foliage, birds and plant life. In 2013 a family of 9 Brazilian monkeys chose to call the Villas their home. They will be waiting on roof tops and trees for anyone that wants to share BANANAS.

Our cabana serves both as our restaurant and as an entertainment center for our guests. Upstairs guests will find a game room with a wide screen TV, games and a wide selection of DVDs.

At night our gardens are transformed into a magical garden nightscape with our award winning landscape lighting. Here guests can enjoy a romantic dinner under the stars or take a stroll through our garden canopy.

People choose our villas to unwind and escape from the hectic pace of their everyday lives. In keeping with those goals our Spa serves to relax, rehabilitate and rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit. Our specially trained therapists are here to help you reduce anxiety and stress, muscle soreness and back and joint discomforts. These treatments can also assist in boosting the immune system, promoting tissue regeneration and stimulating blood circulation.
