SKI & SNOWBOARD

Cerro Catedral is the most important
ski center in South America.

It has the fastest and most comfortable lifts. More than 50 slopes for skiers of all levels and a snowboard park of more than 3000 m2 where raiders can experience the big air, jumps, rails and boxes.

In addition, the best ski school will be at your service, offering classes for beginners, advanced classes, or simply company to explore the 120 km of ski slopes of Catedral Alta Patagonia with the best instructors and the newest equipment and boards.

They also provide Ski or Snowboard School service for the little ones and while your family learns to ski, you can enjoy the mountain without guilt.

TREKKING

A good alternative to enjoy the unique forests is to reach the mountain refuges of the Nahuel Huapi National Park. A few meters from Galileo Boutique Hotel, the walk to Refugio Frey begins, famous for its views and its green lagoon at more than 1,700 meters above sea level. You arrive walking in permanent direct contact with nature. There are other trails whose routes can last between 3 and 6 hours. All of them are signposted, but we always recommend notifying Club Andino or the hotel before starting the walk. The forests are a refuge from urban noise and in them you can hear the songs of birds, the flow of water in rivers, streams and waterfalls and enjoy the clean, pure mountain air.

At Galileo Boutique Hotel we are passionate about fly fishing . Recognized worldwide, Bariloche is one of the best places to practice fly fishing . In the surroundings and just minutes from our Apart Hotel you will find the best and most virgin rivers and lakes, where you can wade or float their waters in search of brown trout, rainbow trout and the always combative fontinnalis trout.

You will spend days of charm surrounded by nature, landscapes and very good catches.

OBSERVATORY

Of course, it is impossible to overlook my most �stellar� attribute, the Southern Cross . Therefore, I have a  tower with a  high-resolution telescope, to share with my guests guided tours of the sky of the region, accompanied by our astronomical guide. After meeting at the bar or in the reception area, we went up to the tower to enjoy the constellations of the Southern Hemisphere. GOLF

Just 10 and 30 minutes from Galileo Boutique Hotel are two of the best golf courses in the country and Patagonia. Both 18 holes and par 72, surrounded by captivating nature. Mountains, lakes and forests will be your best allies when it comes to improving your score. We schedule classes for our guests, with the professionals of the courses as well as rental of golf carts and clubs. In the Pro Shop of both you will find the equipment you are missing as well as nice souvenirs to take back to your golfing friends.

KAYAK & STAND UP PADDLE

The lakes of Bariloche are nourished by meltwater, their colors are incredible; green, blue and crystalline. We suggest you take kayak trips along the coasts of Lake Guti�rrez, the Limay River, and Lake Mascardi. Half-day, full-day and safari departures with a minimum of one night camping under the stars.
The proposal is for all ages and states of preparation. The novelty is the practice of SUP in Patagonia, both in the lakes and in the rivers, it is incredible to paddle in these waters. If you are a Yoga lover, there are also Yoga classes on the board.
ZIP LINE-CANOPY

You can practice canopy  near Cerro L�pez, a few kilometers from  Cerro Catedral . Flying through the forests to appreciate the wonderful landscapes of Patagonia .
This is a very fun option for those who enjoy adventure and nature. You fly 1500 meters through a forest, passing 10 platforms. It is an activity for the whole family, and the kids love it because they give you a certificate of courage.

QUADRICYCLES

Quadricycles  or  fourtrax  are one of the most popular excursions at  Galileo Boutique Hotel both in winter and summer. These exciting vehicles are rented at the  base of Cerro Catedral , and a tour is taken along the mountain. It travels through the neighboring forests, borders the Casa de Piedra Stream, and after two and a half hours of incomparable landscape it flows into the calm and mysterious Moreno Lake.
There are also Snowmobile or Snow Mobile excursions to go up to have tea at Cerro Catedral during the winter season. We also suggest you go on a Snowmobile to have dinner in the mountains in snow-covered shelters.
HORSEBACK RIDING

This is another of the rewarding activities that you can do from Galileo Boutique Hotel , at the  base of Cerro Catedral . Horseback riding brings us into contact with nature and country people. Canyons and slopes, mountains and steppe. Different landscapes to live unique and unforgettable experiences. While we ride trails we can see condors, Moorish eagles, deer, foxes and all the great variety of birds that populate our forests.
Our favorite horseback rides are on Cerro Tronador, touring forests, discovering waterfalls and hidden glaciers.

We also recommend interesting horseback rides in Patagonian ranches that culminate with a great barbecue or a delicious tea and cakes. The Steppe or Patagonian Desert also invites us to discover its landscapes on horseback, traveling through valleys and hills to discover the condoreras where the Condors rest. In the Rio Manso valley, on the way to the border with Chile, it is possible to combine a rafting excursion with an afternoon of horseback riding with the family.

One of the most popular activities during spring and summer at Galileo Boutique Hotel is mountain biking.
     There are numerous trails on  Cerro Catedral  with different levels of difficulty. You can choose between fast descents or excursions along different roads and trails in  Bariloche .

There are companies that rent high-end or touring bicycles depending on the route selected. Many of our guests travel with their own bicycles to pleasantly explore Patagonia. LAKE EXCURSIONS

The city of Bariloche is located on the coast of Lake Nahuel Huapi. From Puerto Pa�uelo , one of its ports, you can enjoy the Excursion to Puerto Blest and Los Cantaros Waterfall or The Walk to Isla Victoria and Bosque de Arrayanes . Both can be half or full day, depending on the season of the year. There is also a navigation to Brazo Tristeza from the Port of Bahia Lopez in Circuito Chico. For those who prefer a private tour, we propose an afternoon sailing on the Nahuel Huapi. This tour lasts three hours and is for groups of up to six people and departs from Puerto Petu�a.
