CLIMATE: The weather is unpredictable in both Chilean and Argentine Patagonia. Strong winds (predominantly during the summer) mean changing conditions, often you can experience four seasons in one day.

Located in the heart of Patagonia, at a low altitude and close to the sea, Torres del Paine National Park features a microclimate with agreeable daily temperatures that in summer vary between 12 ºC (53.6 ºF) and 24 ºC (75.2 ºF), and 2 ºC (35,6 ºF) to 16 ºC (60.8 ºF) in the winter.

The climate in El Chaltén is similar to Torres del Paine, but slightly colder. During the year temperatures during the day can vary between 2ºC (35ºF) and 23ºC (74ºF).
