It is with deep regret that we make known the passing of our friend and colleague Rosita Perez, following a two year battle against a rare blood disease, passed March 2022. She will be deeply missed.

Rosita joined LADATCO in February 1971 as a part time job while going to school and perfecting her English, after arrival from her native country, Colombia.

She originally started in the mail room and set up a bulk mail system and then moved on - to working in Sales support in the Central American Division, then to the South American Division in Interline Sales telephone sales and then on to telephone sales and escorting fam trips to South America to Manager South America Sales and to Vice President South America.

Her day-to-day duties focus on FIT sales and operations including documentation.

Rosita has traveled to all the major destinations in South and Central America and presently wears the in-office crown as "Queen of the Galapagos" having personally cruises on 14 different vessels for more than 20 trips to the islands.

She also has a personal love for Brasil and attends the yearly Brasil TravelMart to hone her destination expertise and add visits to more destinations within the country. Her Brasil visits include such exotics as Fernando de Noronha, Praia de Pipa, Trancoso, Corumbau, Itacare and Ilheus.
