Wu Ediciones was established in 1990, with the publication of a book edited by Frances Wu that was printed in a workshop dedicated to the production of fine art prints. This was the beginning of an adventure in the promotion and creation of art editions, which led to the creation of her own printing workshop in Lima in 1996.

The workshop became a place of gathering and creative exchange between the technicians, artists and artisans, within an environment of continuous experimentation to produce impressive limited editions. The necessity to provide an exhibition space of greater importance and to offer professional art consulting services motivated in 1998 the creation of the space that is currently occupied by Wu Galeria, in the district of Barranco.

Wu Galeria now represents the work of Peruvian artists working in a diverse range of media –including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and installation- specializing in discovering young talent and initiate them in the commercial art circuit.
