OUR CONCEPT
Feel you have your home, your comfort and your privacy surrounded by nature. By offering you a personalized service, LA MANIGUA LODGE allows you to experiment the same comfort of your home in the middle of the natural scenario that surrounds the most beautiful river in the world, Caño Cristales. Our accommodations are completly immersed inside the tropical forest of La Serranía de la Macarena, surrounded by birdsongs and the curiosity of the squirrel monkeys and other species.

We understand and value the dynamics of the forest and it's biodiversity, that's why we protect every tree and every organism that coexists with us. LA MANIGUA LODGE prioritizes low impact on the surrounding forest by using renewable energies and building sustainable constructions, and as reward we get the protection of the trees against the strong winds and the burning sun, and the company of different wild species.

At LA MANIGUA LODGE you will find a space to get excited, reactivate your senses, relax and be amazed with whatever nature wants to show you during your visit. In this natural scene you are our major concern, your senses and emotions are our priority and your experience is our pride. 

OUR COMMITMENT WITH OUR FORESTS
When you stay at LA MANIGUA LODGE, you and the forests turn into the main characters of a conservation  scene. We invest a part of our earnings into a nursery of native plants which main goal is to help to recover the plant structure of the Serranía de la Macarena. Reforesting is part of the solution against climate change!

ACCOMMODATONS
Our cabins are completely private, surrounded by nature and have a very original design.

Named after the monkey species that visits La Manigua Lodge.
Max. Capacity: 5 people
This cabin has 3 single beds and 1 double bed. Each bed has its own mosquito net, linens, towerl and a blanket in case the night is too cold.

We are located by the Guayabero river, 10 minutes by boat from the entrance to the natural reserve where CAÑO CRISTALES, the most beautiful river in the world, is located!
