Colchagua Valley Wine Route Vina Viu Manent

Founded in the middle of the 19th century, the vineyard was began with fine varities brought from France. The vineyard and the winery of Hacienda Cunaco wre acquired in 1966 by Bodegas Viu. Today Vina Viu Manent consists of the vineyard at Hacienda Cunaco has 370 acres planeted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Syrah, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Viogner and the vineyard at Fundo La Capilla with 95 acres planted in Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay. Built with the most modern technology, the winery has a capacity of 2 million liters in stainless steel tanks and two and a half million liters in epoxicated cemet and 300,000 liters in French and American Oak Barrels. They export primarily to Europe, Asia and North America.
