ABOUT VINA LA PLAYA HOTEL - in their own words:

Viņa La Playa Winery & Hotel is located in the heart of the Colchagua Valley, about 180 kilometers southwest of Santiago (Chilean capital). This is a boutique hotel that offers a very personalized attention to the guests with an a unique wine experience.

Opened in March 2004, nestled amid 250 hectares of vines, this unique wine-country facility is beautifully situated among our vineyards on the Tinguiririca riverbank. It is easily accessible by car (about two and a half hours from the capital city of Santiago), and we also have our own airstrip.

The hotel is a classic Chilean hacienda-style building that features four-star overnight accommodations for our guests, who sleep under the same roof that protects our premium wine cellars. The gracious hosts and their friendly, experienced staff create an inviting family atmosphere.

The dining room's international cuisine is first-rate and is well complemented, naturally, by La Playa wines. Our guests also enjoy abundant recreational activities, such as swimming, tennis, horseback riding, and canoeing, as well as day trips to regional attractions and nightlife in the nearby city of Santa Cruz (population about 50,000).
