Hosteria Ancud Ancud, Chiloe Island, Chile |
|
In the words of the Hosteria Ancud:
The hotel, with its grand view of the bay and peninsula of Lacuy, is set in the environs of an ancient Spanish Fort, San Antonio. It is immersed in the magic, legends and traditions of Chiloé.
Located in the northern sector of the city of Ancud, 300 yards from the Plaza de Armas (town center), our hotel is a commodious building of locally quarried stone and native timber.
By our cosy hearthside, with a superb sea view, we serve a great variety of fresh dishes, both international and local to Chiloé. Specialties include fine meats, fresh fish from the South Pacific or the famous Chiloé oysters.
The restaurant, open to guests and to the public, provides a daily set menu featuring fresh local fish and shellfish, giving an alternative to our al la carte menu.
Our exclusive bar serves an international selection of cocktails, fine wines from our cellar, beers and soft drinks. Everyday there is a Happy Hour where we serve two drinks for the price of one. All this is accompanied by a superb view of the Bay of Lacuy.
