most secluded part of the majestic Ponta Negra Beach, MANARY has 25 apartments, each with
a large private balcony overlooking the sea, air-conditioning, minibar, in-room safe,
conventional and cable-TV, in-house video and sound, direct-dial telephone, day-long

WHAT TO DO IN
THE AREA: There are excursions to archeological and paleontological sites,
national parks, colonial architecture, deserted beaches and Brazilian culture of the
northeast. Pipa: This
trip takes you to the most beautiful beaches of Rio Grande do Norte. The Ecological
Sanctuary in Pipa, located overlooking Ponta do Madeiro Beach, is an area of preserved
vegetation that has grown over ancient coastal sand dunes. On a walking tour of the area,
you can learn more about the native fauna and flora and observe dolphins and sea turtles.
Pipa's village is full of exciting nightlife options and offers a variety of restaurants
with delicious cuisine. |
MANARY PRAIA'S SUGGESTIONS OF WHAT TO DO - in their own words:
Don't do anything!
Enjoy Ponta Negra beach.
Take a dune buggy ride over the dunes of Genipabu and "skibunda"(literally ski-butt - whatever that means) at the sand dunes and lake of Jacumã.
Visit the beaches along the south coast, and see the "Largest Cashew Tree in the World", take a dip in the natural pools of Pirangi, enjoy dolphin-watching at Tabatinga beach, "giboiando" (relaxing) in the lagoons of Camurupim, riding jet-skis at Arituba Lake and WOW, if you're still alive, exploring the cave of Pedra Ôca (The Hollow Rock).
Visit the fantastic beach of Pipa with Manary Ecotours. Included in your itinerary is visiting the city that was swallowed by the ocean, a petrified beach, and an ecological sanctuary. You'll also swim with the dolphins and walk through the quaint streets of this charming village.
Take a dune buggy ride along the northern coastline until you reach Cabo de São Roque (Cape of Saint Roque), the part of Brazil closest to Africa. If you're up for an adventure, you can go on until you arrive at Ponta Calcanhar, which is "where Brazil makes a curve."
