The Kiaroa experience is unique. The resort offers rooms and bungalows with exclusive decoration and gastronomic options made specially for the finest tastes in the world. Placed in the sea shore, on a desert and plain beach, clear blue water, thin sands and seawater pools, Kiaroa has in nature an special feature.
Leisure at Kiaroa is to be and to feel the Resort. The swimming pool is the highlight, with 800m², wet deck and an center island. You can also enjoy a tennis court, volleyball and steam. For those who doesn't pass on calmness, Kiaroa has an internet point and a library to your complete confort. To know better the natural beauties of the area, escuna boat trips, tracks and diving are excellent options.Doubtlessly, one of Kiaroa Eco-Luxury Resort greatest features is its unique location in the Baía de Camamu eco-sanctuary.
The Península de Maraú, located in the Baía de Camamu, is one of the most beatifull places in Brazil, and it still keeps untouched areas of Mata Atlântica. Barra Grande, the main village in the area, has just about 500 inhabitants and is a real peace and calmness shelter. In the village, you can find good bars and restaurants.The place still keeps more atractions to those willing to explore the natural beauties: Ilha do Sapinho (Little Frog Island), Ilha do Goió, Cachoeira do Tremembé (Tremembé Falls) and the beautifull Ilha da Pedra Furada, with its amazing natural sculptures.
Barra Grande Beach is plain, with warm and calm waters. In the coast toward the continent, there are little backwaters spots, really flat ones. In the other side, the one toward the sea, you can find nice surfing beaches. Other ones with reefs makes nice natural pools, the best thing to pratice diving. Frontward the Resort, there is an 400m² natural pool.GETTING TO KIAROA RESORT:
| BY PLANE: Your wonderful trip starts at Salvador International Airport, aboard the plane taking you to Kiaroa. Abaeté dunes, the blue sea and the coastline soft geography profiles already are, on their own, a gift. The approximately 30-minute panoramic flight, leaves the guest on the hotel runway - at 50 meters from the lobby. |
BY LAND FROM SALVADOR,
BAHIA: Another option is by land, by highway BR-324, crossing Baía de Todos os Santos ("All Saints Bay") by ferry-boat and, passing through Itaparica Island, arriving at the city of Camamu. From there, on boats or launches, Maraú river is run between mangroves and islets, Barra Grande port is reached. From there to Kiaroa it is quick, only 10 minutes, by resort vehicles that are already waiting for you. Total route is approximately 370km, which lasts 6 hours on average.. |
BY LAND FROM ILHEUS: You can also get there through Ilhéus and, by boat or land, run more or less 170km, about 3 hours, passing through very beautiful landscapes with intense vegetation, typical of the Atlantic Forest. |
