ABOUT POSADA LOS ALAMOS - in their own words:

Located just two blocks from the main thoroughfare of El Calafate, Posada Los Alamos first opened in 1984 with only 11 rooms.  In 1985 La Posta restaurant-grill was opened, hosting 130 diners, with one of the best catering services in the area, it’s creator the engineer Hector Mario Guatti screened his creation “Magia del Ventisquero Moreno” (Magic at Moreno’s Glacier) to entertain his guests. By 1988, La Posta increased its capacity to 200 diners, keeping the unique style of regional food and becoming one of the best alternatives in town.

A first rate hotel with 20 thousand square meters of parks and gardens, today it has 144 rooms with all the amenities and exclusively decorated for the most demanding travelers, with a privileged view overlooking the gardens and the mountains.

ACCOMMODATIONS AND SERVICES:

Since the beginning the Guatti-Girometti family undertook personally the decoration of the hotel, filling the place with precious objects that store the history of the region and their family. The Hotel has 144 rooms, including 4 jr. suites, with all the services; decorated exclusively for the discerning guests, with privileged views to the gardens and the Andes.

OUR EXCLUSIVE SPA

Among the various services available we can mention: Facial & corporal treatments, thalassotherapy, body polishing, lymphatic drainage, mud therapy and essential aroma therapy hydro massage , Other services that Humus Spa can provide at its ample installations: Gymnastics, Pilates, Barber shop, Manicure, Waxing and Solar Bed tanning. Access to Humus Spa includes the unlimited use of the heated pool, sauna, massage shower, Hydro massage, Steam bath and gym.

 

EL PINAR GOLF COURSE

Since the 13th of December 1997, it’s the only golf course in El Calafate. Sponsored by the master De Vicenzo, located 50 yds. From the hotel’s front desk and across the Humus Spa and Humus Cocktail Bar.

It’s a par 3 course located in latitude S 50 & Longitude W 72, has 6 green of 1070 to 2140 sq. feet surface, it has 18 Tees, and the distance varies from 70 to 250 yards (the longest par 3 possible), giving new and exciting challenges to the golfers.

They are 18 holes of different difficulties that make it a very entertaining & complex course, demanding from the players to use most of the clubs in the bag, especially those days that the Patagonian winds are present. It also has a putting green of 9 holes and a practice range for two players. The golf course is open for the practice from the 1st of October till the 15th of May (With extensions depending on the weather conditions)
